Aimnav is Micromar's new Neuronavigation system, developed to meet the ever-increasing medical needs in the neurosurgery field.

It contains various tools that help the surgeon in frameless procedures guided through navigation, ranging from a simple biopsy to extraction of tumors in regions of difficult access, neuroendoscopic surgeries, etc.

Aimnav is fast, accurate and reliable. It has a camera with retractile and mobile arm, providing full freedom of positioning in the surgical field, thus making the system practical and ergonomic.

With a software that guides the neurosurgeon throughout the whole process (Wizard Guidance), the navigation is simplified from beginning to end. In addition, Aimnav has several modules that help the surgeon plan the surgery: volumetric visualization of studies, image fusion, marking of points and regions of interest, segmentation of organs and tissues and definition of tracks. These tools will provide greater support and safety to the surgeon during navigation, enabling the procedure to have several information with small details that might make a great difference to a greater success.
