SURTRON® SB System is the instrument specifically studied and created for coagulation treatment, preliminary to the act of resectioning, for the purpose of reducing and/or eliminating bleeding during and after treatment of parenchymatous organs.

SURTRON® SB System because contributes to solves the bleeding problem, which still constitutes a major problem associated with hepatic resectioning, avoids need of blood transfusion, cuts down post operative morbidity as well as operative time and post operative stay in hospital of the patient.

SURTRON® SB System, acts by means of innovative, patent pending, incremental radiofrequency generator having automatic control of energy provided to the parenchymatous target through a multielectrode device, similar to a comb, proper to promote the coagulation and shrinking of the total parenchymal thickness of transection plane at once.

SURTRON® SB System has been designed and developed at the laboratories of LED SpA in collaboration with the UNIVERSITY of TOR VERGATA in ROME.

It consist of:

* Disposable Multielectrode no stick Comb Array
* Guide designed to avoid electrodes bending during insertion to the parenchyma
* Protective shield for easy introducing of the electrodes and thermally isolate the tissue below the parenchyma
